Wipro is actively hiring for the role of Production Specialist - Level 1, a client-facing technical support role responsible for handling process transactions, troubleshooting user issues, and ensuring SLA-compliant resolution for customers. This role is a critical part of Wipro’s operations and will help ensure seamless service delivery to clients across domains.
As a Production Specialist, you will play a key role in managing end-user queries, resolving technical/product concerns via email and call, updating support logs, and participating in continuous learning to stay aligned with client expectations.
This role demands excellent communication, a proactive attitude toward client engagement, and the ability to handle transaction-based activities in accordance with quality and productivity standards.
✅ Eligibility Criteria:
- Experience: 1 to 3 years in customer service, transactional accounting, or product support roles
- Mandatory Skill: Hands-on experience in Invoice to Pay (I2P) or Transactional Accounting
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline (Commerce preferred)
- Location Flexibility: Must be willing to work from Chennai
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask, manage tickets, and follow escalation protocols
- Basic understanding of accounting workflows will be an added advantage
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
🧩 Client Query Resolution & Transaction Management
- Handle client inquiries via calls/emails, following courteous and professional behavior
- Provide prompt resolutions as per defined SLA using process documentation and tools
- Maintain a log of client interactions, actions taken, and resolution outcomes
- Identify common issues and contribute to knowledge base improvements
📞 Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose client issues and guide users through simple step-by-step resolutions
- Provide alternatives and proactively support customers to maintain satisfaction levels
- Ensure legal compliance and share mandatory disclosures during every interaction
- Follow up with customers post-resolution to ensure closure and feedback
📚 Learning & Operational Excellence
- Participate in ongoing training related to product updates and client-specific tools
- Work closely with team leads to address performance gaps and improve process quality
- Regularly update job-related knowledge through internal portals and peer collaboration
